September 06 Newsletter

Well we had our own 9/11 here this month. The whole site crashed. William and Ceri went into a flat spin and I went hysterical. As well as the regular features like the Forum going down, I had prepared loads of new stuff to put up on the site, particularly in the discography section, which completely disappeared into cyberspace. Will is foraging around retrieving and replacing items. I don’t know how long it will take. Please bear with us and don’t make him feel any worse than I have already.

I really hope this never happens again as my nerves can’t stand it.

On a lighter note, some news from Granma San. My granddaughter Ella celebrated her first birthday and had a jolly time eating cakes, bashing tambourines and pushing her wooden trolley around the kitchen. Here are pics of Ella with her mum, Alice, and Ella with my feet.

We have always had a great rapport. Since she was born we have sung, screamed, danced and made what could vaguely be called music together. It is extremely loud and exhausting but great fun for us though less thrilling perhaps for her parents who are very patient with our noise.
