Well I have been developing my football ‘expert’ skills, in both England and France, courtesy of my son Jack. We have been cross channel commentating to each other on World Cup broadcasts and I have actually succeeded impressing him with my ‘knowledge’, though as it turns out my leaning towards France has proven well founded. I cannot believe the way Rooney (“You Fat Bastard!”) was stitched up by Portugal. Some more anger management perhaps – poor sod. Still, good riddance to Sven and his fat pay packet and let’s hope the new England captain’s wife has more meat on her!
