REVIEWS
Sandie Shaw Like You Never Heard her Before!!, October 11, 2004 * * * * *
Reviewer: brianj748 from New Zealand "Reviewing The Situation" was first released in 1969, the same year Sandie had a huge hit with 'Monsieur Dupont.'the sounds on this album are certainly way different from that song.
Sandie sings Led Zepplin's 'Your Time is Gonna Come", really amazing, really rock and roll,Dylan's 'Lay Lady Lay' and more great tracks. She adds her own distinct personality on each track here. Also included, which was not on the original is 'Frank Mills'. Sandie was singing this at the end of 1969 and 1970 on TV and radio. it is gorgeous, from the musical 'Hair' and Sandie sings it better than anyone else!!! Thanks Sandie for adding this track, well worth the wait!.

Reviewer: brianj748 from Christchurch - New Zealand Reviewing The Siuation was released in 1969, I remeber buying it and loving the album cover, it was gorgeous! The album was good too, such a change from the pop singles that Sandie was making at that time.
Stand out tracks for me were Led Zepplin's 'Your Time is Gonna Come' - brilliant, would have made a great single! Also loved "lay Lady Lay' and Sun in My Eyes'
On this new EMI version, Sandie has added 'Frank Mills' which she does better than anyone else , it's sooo 60s, flower power, innocent and absolutely beautiful!!! She was singing it on TV around Xmas 1969 and I really longed for a recording of it, well no doubt it's worth the wait, thanks Sandie!!! Forever Fab: Phat awesome and COOL!
